Make money from Blogging (for free!)

One way to make money online without the need for a website is to start a free blog. This is a great solution for people who don't have the technical skills or the time for a full blown website, or for those who don't have the money to invest in setting up a website. Blogging can also be profitable for website owners as it is a good mechanism for adding content to your site, getting new pages indexed in the search engines more quickly and talking to your customers in a more personal and informal way.

Starting a blog is easy. One way to do this is to open a free account at Blogger, which is owned by Google. Once you've opened your account there's no need for you to have any technical skills to make your first post, just follow the instructions in Blogger, choose a template for your Blog then make your first post by entering a headline and some details in the same way as you would write an email. After you're down then hit the Publish button and you're done! Your blog is now live for everyone to see.

Blogger lets you have an unlimited number of blogs and you can choose to host them on your own website or for free at Blogspot.com. The first blog in the list above is hosted on this website and the second and third blog are hosted on Blogspot.com.

Try to choose a topic that interests you for your blog. It can be on anything you like - perhaps one of your hobbies, your home town, a vacation that you had, something political - there's an endless list of topics to choose from. Try and make a post to your blog at least once or twice a week. It's better to write your own unique content, but if you don't want to do this you can always publish other people's articles (with their author's resource box at the bottom of the article)
